A little more wildlife

Been taking hikes to the inland bay of Lake Superior that lies just south of here. The geese, cranes, herons, ducks and pelicans (yes, pelicans) are in great numbers there. Unfortunately the pelicans are very hard to reach, so haven't been able to get pictures yet. Due to the low level of the lake this spring, it's been nice to walk along the lake bed that would
normally be under 6 in of water.

This little guy was very curious as to why I was in his neighbourhood, but very happily posed for quite a few pictures before racing off.

Great pictures Sue! The flying geese must have been taken in Sports mode?
Did you use the zoom as well? I'm still trying to figure it all out...When you download the pictures onto your computer, when and how do you resize them so that they are a more manageable size? Do you use the Kodak Easy share system for downloading and saving or do you use some other software? I find the easyshare software stores them in a fashion that I find hard to find!

Ah, so many questions, and so little space... :)
The geese were on auto mode, half zoom. When I zoom in further, it's hard to work with the photos later, and my hand is too unsteady.
I use photoshop, and resize to 3 x 3 with 480 px/in...and a small size (1 or 2).
I wasn't too crazy about easyshare either.

I like the geese and your squirrels are much more patient than they are here.
We went to our Naturalist group lecture last night-speaker was the eagle cam guy from Hornby Island-
he has wonderful movies from 2 years ago.
