Our 10 cords of firewood arrived yesterday,
so if anyone is interested in helping us cut it up, drop on by!

One of the ten or so jays that feast at the feeder.
Here we are in 2009, empty-nesters with nothing to do but watch the birds and try to keep warm during the long, cold winter! Good to see you, come back anytime, and if you are particularly daring, come up and visit...we'd love to see you.

I would love to say yes, but can come up with a myriad of perfectly good excuses: 1. Too old, 2. No chainsaw, 3. Too cold up there, 4. Too much snow up there, 5. Too far to travel (this time of year), 6. I would eat too much, 7. And last, but certainly not least, I would miss Delores.
(She'd better read this)

okay, okay...we'll get the wood earlier next year. I'm sure we could scare up an extra saw. Who said Delores couldn't come? But I'm touched.
Hmmm...I read it and I'm touched too but I'm wondering why I didn't win out over "Too old"....Happy to make the list though.....
Oh Sue, I meant to say also that the picture of the blue jay is awesome!! You should send it, along with your acrobatic chickadee, to the 'Oh Canada' magazine for use on the last page! They would be shoe ins!

I'm very curious about the deleted comment, but I don't want to cut wood either.
I agree about the bird pictures-what's the harm in sending them in somewhere???
I don't know where that deleted comment came from, it was in spanish or something. I deleted it.
I wouldn't mind sending the picture in, but then it's their's
(Our Canada) and they can use it anywhere they want...gratis. I'll see.
