This is the "after". We used to have lovely turquoise carpet in the living room and parquet linoleum in the dining room. This is 100% better.

The place looks wonderful, but there's no doubt in my mind that the old flooring will be sadly missed. Did you put felt protectors on the furniture legs to prevent marring the floor?

yes, that was the first thing Bruce did.
I have been trying unsuccessfully to save and publish a video on blogger but it always gets bogged down and blogger will not connect to save it. Could you do a short video and see if it works for you? thanks

the floor is great. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I can't get over how many dust bunnies we get which in the past would have been undetected in the carpet-yuck.
Bailey isn't fond of the wood-much prefers the bedroom carpets
