This guy/girl has been hanging around, and I assume is preying on my birdies.
He was perched on the internet antenna this morning. The weather is awful, rain turning to snow and back again, so he looks pretty bedraggled.
A very pretty bird...always wanted to be close enough to get a picture of one.

Great pictures! One of my favorite birds at least for its color. This morning I heard bobolinks, saw a beautiful male oriole and and pair of kingfishers. Also heard winter wrens and white-throated sparrows while picking up garbage in the swamp (today is Township clean-up day).
